Renée Poutous Barry, CPA has provided financial advisory services for over 20 years. Currently, she provides restructuring and fractional CFO services along with full service accounting consulting from her firm Ridgewell Financial Consultants. The firm has grown over its twelve-year tenure and currently supports over twenty-five companies on a regular basis.

Ms. Barry honed her financial analysis skills during her time at Capstone Advisory Group, LLC (acquired by Berkley Research Group) and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services. She has provided financial advisory services in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including high-profile engagements with Tribune and two regional casinos with debts exceeding $600 million. In-depth analyses typically cover operations, liquidation value, financial forecasting, solvency, debt capacity, creditor recovery, and market trends. Ms. Barry has also supported liquidation trustees with all trust accounting and coordination of legal, audit, and claims administration teams.

In her fractional CFO capacity, Ms. Barry oversees cashflow management, forecasting analysis, financing solutions, cost structure analysis, pricing recommendations, and investor communications. She works closely with on-site finance and accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting. If certain functions are not provided within the company, her staff at Ridgewell Financial can meet all accounting needs. Ms. Barry also holds the Accredited in Business Valuation credential. She provides full business valuations for buy/ sell consulting, estate processing, and litigation support.

Ms. Barry graduated from American University with a B.S. in International Finance and George Washington University with an M.B.A. She is a member of the Association of International CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs.
